The application deadline to the Materials
Science and Engineering department
is January 15 for Fall admissions
and October 15 for Spring admissions. The
nonrefundable application fee is $55. Prospective
students must be a graduate of Materials
Science and Engineering or a related discipline
at a recognized university with better than
a "B" average. Admission is based on your
overall academic performance and potential,
including transcripts, recommendation letters,
GRE scores, TOEFL scores, and the Statement
of Purpose.
