Crystallography Stuff

• Here's a preprint (PDF format, about 4 Mb) of a paper which appeared in the Journal of Materials Education (vol. 20, 31-32, 1998), and which deals with the teaching of crystallography and point groups.
• There is a whole series of archives which I developed for the teaching of point group symmetry; take a look here.
• The 2D X-ray Diffraction Simulator, a cT-program developed by James Cheney (CS department, CMU), is available for the Macintosh platform. This requires system 9.
• The 3D X-ray Diffraction Simulator, written in C++ by James Cheney, is currently only available for the Macintosh platform (system 9).
